Kinect the Dots

Alright, I’ll admit it: coding the Kinect is harder than I thought.

I have been tirelessly working with the new Expressions for the Kienct v2 sensor and as part of the SDK 2.0 release. So far I have come across a few great tutorials and help pages through Microsoft’s tremendous Developer sites, but none  better than this:

At this point, with just a few days left, I have figured out how to properly track faces . For ‘happiness’ I am trying to make it especially challenging through a low tolerance so as to mimic the true struggle of being happy in life. Moving forward, I am working on reducing the memory load of running so many processes. The result has been a number of crashes and lost time…but hopefully that will be resolved later today.
